Fabric & Supply Requirements:

  • Main Fabric: 1 fat quarter
  • Accent Fabric: 1 fat quarter
  • Lining Fabric: ½ yard
  • Binding Fabric: ½ yard
  • Foam Stabilizer: 18″ x 24″ (such as Soft and Stable or Pellon Flex Foam)
  • Vinyl: 10″ x 15″ (12-gauge or 16-gauge clear/printed vinyl)
  • Zippers: One 30″ zipper (size #4.5 or #5 handbag/long-pull style) and three 10″ zippers
Difficulty Level: Advanced (or intermediate-to-advanced) [1, 2]
Core Skills Involved: Quilting and basting layers, working with clear vinyl, single-fold/double-fold/bias binding, and installing zippers using multiple techniques.
