A Perfect Pattern for These Fabrics
The tumbler design is especially effective with this collection because each block becomes a little window into the fabric. Geometric prints, botanical illustrations, vintage-inspired motifs, and tiny details are scattered throughout the quilt, creating plenty to discover.
For the best effect, the instructions encourage you to arrange the pieces before sewing, distributing the light, medium, and dark prints throughout the quilt. This gives the finished quilt a beautiful, balanced appearance while allowing those wonderful Tim Holtz prints to shine.
No Cutting Required!
We’ve done the tedious part for you. The tumbler pieces are already cut and ready to sew, so this kit is a great choice for quilters who love the look of a scrappy, complex quilt but would rather spend their time piecing instead of cutting.
The kit also includes additional tumbler pieces to give you flexibility when arranging directional prints or to replace a piece if needed.
Backing:
Plan for either 2 yards of 60″-wide backing fabric, including fleece or minky, or 3 yards of 43″–44″-wide fabric if you prefer a pieced backing.
Binding:
Pre-cut 2½” binding strips are included.
