I’m so happy with how this set of placemats turned out! I purchased an inexpensive set of red placemats at Walmart and then machine embroidered Christmas carols in the top left corner of each and a holiday motif in the lower left. I had a jelly roll of Robert Kaufman metallic fabrics on hand and used a few of the strips to add a pretty binding to each placemat. For the small, square centerpiece mat I cut one of the placemats to an 8″ x 8″ square and then embroidered it and added binding.
Three of the Christmas carols embroidery were designs purchased from Designs by JuJu (DBJJ) and for the fourth, Silent Night, I created the design with Embrillance Essential software. DBJJ had more Christmas carol art but there were only three oriented/sized for my project needs. The holiday motifs came from EmbLibrary.com.
These were a gift to my daughter and son-in-law and they loved them.
