You will have a completed tote bag at the end of the day. This is a great workshop for beginner sewists.
Class Fee, Pattern & Kit is $33
The kit includes a printed pattern, a placemat panel that will be used for the front and back of the tote, fabric for the lining, trim and straps, and fusible fleece for stability. You will use two of the six placemats on the panel. You could make placemats, more tote bags, pillows, a table runner or other project the leftover fabric you’ll take home with you.
Many of the needed items can be purchased in the Dianne Sews & More store. You may bring a small iron and ironing mat, such as a TV tray, as long as it is no larger than 18″x24″. It can be located at the end of your sewing table. Irons, a large ironing surface and larger cutting areas are available in the classroom and store.
