KC Chiefs Queen-Size Quilt Kit

The 97″ x 102″ Quilt Top Kit Includes

• Printed paper pattern designed by Benartex and revised and reimagined by Dianne Sews & More
• Fabric Traditions Licensed KC Chiefs cotton fabric
• A variety of Paintbrush Studio’s  Super Bowl ’24 Celebration fabrics (printed in Kansas City)
• Paintbrush Studio Painter’s Palette Solids in Real Red, Ebony Black, and Gold
• The kit includes fabric for the top, as shown, and a traditional 2.5″ binding
• For reference, the largest blocks are 10″ square (finished)
• This pattern assumes the queen-size mattress is a deep-pocket style and has an 18″ drop on each side. The added width accommodates thicker mattresses but also helps with people who toss and turn and tend to pull the covers off of their bed partner. 🙂

Additional Kit Options

• Optional Fabric Traditions Licensed KC Chiefs‘ cotton fabric for the back of the quilt. The backing takes 9 yards of 43″ wide cotton. You will have some fabric left over you can use for future projects.
• If you choose an option with backing, it includes additional length and width to accommodate longarm quilting.
• We recommend the optional Gilde Quilting Thread in Military Gold, Black, or Candy Apple Red. If the kit you choose includes thread, please specify your thread color choice in the order notes during checkout.
• We have included an additional 1/8 yard of red and black fabric for errors in cutting the strips. We HIGHLY recommend using a Creative Grids Stripology Ruler to cut perfect strips.
• If you are using an AccuQuilt die cutter for the strips, you will need to purchase additional black and red fabric from this online store to compensate for the waste that occurs with that cutting system.
